Direct access to the Canterbury to Rome pilgrims' trail which provides a pleasant 90 minute walk to San Gimingano. Superb views in all directions. Be prepared for a steep, winding unmade 3k road to the hotel on arrival. It seems never ending but well worth the effort."

The food at the restraurant was superb and the pool divine on the hot Tuscan days! Easy to get to and a quick 30mins from Florence made it a wonderful choice. We both can't wait to be back!! "Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Location is great - very close to duomo and shopping, but far enough off the beaten path to not be crowded/loud. The terrace is a really nice place to sit in the shade and relax during the day. Our room was comfortable and clean with a great view.
