"The family that runs this BnB are wonderful. They put together the most wonderful breakfast with fresh and delicious variety of choices. They hand-bake the croissants and the cakes for each morning and homemade yogurt. Everything is just amazing! The terrace is a beautiful place to spend time and catch sunshine while overlooking the Tuscan countryside. It is also a short walk to nearby wineries. However, you can also book tours that take you to multiple sites. Walking around the village is nice too. It is very quiet. A few nice shops are there and also an art gallery!"

"This stay was in a wonderful b&b in a charming village. The room was great with very helpful and thoughtful service. Easy and free parking 5 min walk (outside the ZTL). I would definitely recommend staying here. Make sure you check out the restaurant next door while you do!"

"This place is good but could be amazing. The booking via Expedia is actually managed by a third party who are not very responsive, it is not managed by the vineyard even though they also offer the same accomodation directly from their site. The vineyard is beautiful, close to San Donato and some good hiking. The accomodation is very quiet and the pool is nice. Inside it is fine but the bathroom could be cleaner and the kitchen didn't feel very clean when arrived - ie. the kitchen table was a bit sticky. I tried asking about how to get there and got ignore by the the third party manager so tried asking the vineyard who told me a taxi from Florence airport would be EUR50-75 - it was EUR125 so double. The vineyard also gave me the info about getting a taxi back to Florence for a company whose app says they do not operate in that region which wasn't super helpful. And when we arrived, there was some odd conversation that we couldn't leave our luggage at all anywhere for a couple of hours as we were early and while we walked to San Donato for lunch. In the end they let us put the luggage in the flat while the cleaner finished which was straightforward and what we asked about in the first place."

"Lovely large property very well suited for our family (2 seniors, 3 adults, 2 toddlers). Very accommodating for small children. Maria the host was outstanding -- very sweet, kind, thoughtful and responsive to any and all queries/requests."

"1) The descriptions are not clear about this property. The rooms are a 5-minute drive away from the main building 2) If you need a housekeeping service, you need to pay 60 euros for each day! And you need to throw your trash into the bin outside the property. They won't help you! 3) If you need to use the small gym( a few equipment), you need to pay 25 euros per person for each day! 4) The hotel staff were generally so rude! They are ready to argue with you 5) LEAKING ROOF! If you are going on a rainy day, be careful, you can wake up with water drops The good part 1) The breakfast was good 2) The hotel was clean 3) The view was good, but you can have the same view from the different hotels. "

"This is a lovely older home in the country with a great view of the village across the valley. Excellent hosts and very clean. Only issue, which is outside of their control, is the very slow internet service. It was very difficult to manage blog posts so it might be difficult to conduct any business on the available wifi."

"Beautiful setting with a rustic and friendly vibe. The place was clean and well-kept. We enjoyed every minute! A bonus was that the nights were cool (did t need the AC), and we slept with the windows open, despite the heat during the day."

"Beautiful setting but not a place to take a large group. The kitchen was inadequate. The two old small barbeques for out door cooking were also inadequate. There was no room inside to be together as a group. The table in the kitchen was big enough to seat 14. However the stove top and the half size oven were not designed to accommodate a large group. There was one 16x16 butcher block to work on, a small fridgecould not hold more than two days worth of food, let alone beer, wine and water for 14. There was no ice machine on site and a nice coffee machine (also one pot is not sufficient for 14 people) would have been appreciated. The linens in the bedrooms could be upgraded to make the setting much nicer. There was no laundry access that guests could use themselves, you had to pay for the service.The dirt road to get to the villa is in bad shape, with large blind pot holes creating issues for some. You may turn around before you get to the villa as there is no signage along the initial driveway. The terrace was a beautiful setting and had a large table that would seat 14. Again, the furniture could have used some updating and the patio stones some cleaning. The animal dropping are yours to clean and needs to be done daily. Broken windows and some plumbing issues detracted from the stay also. But through it all we made the most of it and enjoyed our week to the fullest. There are other villas in the area that offer a much more complete stay. Investigate."
