Centurion Hotel Residential Akasaka

"Let’s start with the positives. The location was excellent—very close to the subway, as well as numerous restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the bathroom amenities provided were definitely a nice touch. However, the hotel did not quite live up to the photos online. In person, it felt somewhat worn and in need of updates. While the room itself was clean, the walls and furniture had noticeable scuff marks, and overall the space could benefit from fresh paint and refurbishment. The room also felt consistently damp and humid, despite the air conditioning working well. It was smaller than it appeared in the photos, and for a family of four with older children, there was very little space to store belongings. The bathroom was also quite small, with minimal counter space for toiletries. One concerning issue occurred when housekeeping left the window open one day without notifying us. We only realized it in the middle of the night, which felt unsettling and raised some security concerns. Overall, while the location and staff were strong positives, the condition and size of the room, along with the other issues, would make me hesitant to stay here again."

"Toilet extractor fan barely works. Windows cannot be opened rooms are very stuffy and bathrooms smell due to poor circulation. Staff very helpful. Location is great. Rooms are below average having travelled all across Japan in this trip. Bar breakfast area overpriced and limited choices. They could provide more clothes storage area, they provided us with 3 hangers."

"Hotel staff was incredibly sweet and helpful. The crib was all set up in the room when we checked in and the staff even helped us with all our luggage into the room. Staff recommended and mentioned helpful information regarding the hotel on the way up to our room. 10/10 recommend this hotel!!"

"The hotel is modern, clean and well maintained. The rooms are well outfitted and the beds are very comfortable. The staff are polite and very helpful. However, the laundry room has only four machines and all were in use so no ability to do laundry. Also, it was raining and when we asked for loaner umbrellas they were all out, so we had to buy umbrellas at the Family Mart."

"The location of this hotel is outstanding—one of the best areas in Tokyo. The neighborhood is very safe, convenient, and provides easy access to many of the city's major attractions, restaurants, and transportation options. The staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and professional throughout our stay. They were always willing to assist and made us feel welcome. The only drawback was the size of the rooms, which are quite small. Initially, the room was too cramped for me and my son, so we had to change to a larger room. Fortunately, the staff handled the room change efficiently and made the process very easy. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The excellent location and outstanding service more than compensated for the small room size, and I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo."
