Property is located in an area friendly to western tastes and styles. Many different types of restaurants if you want a change up from eating Japanese foods all the time - nice breakfast! Close to several different train lines and within 1/2 hour of most central Tokyo stations by train. Many of the staff speaks English to some degree and is very helpful especially if you do not speak or understnad Japanese. Negatives were bad bed (rock hard mattresses - I needed to get my mattress replaced as it had a large dip in the center of the mattress from over use causing it painful to my back). The staff was very helpful and got me another mattress but it was very, very very firm mattress (and I like a firm mattress) but it was painful to sleep on and not possible to get comfortable. In addition, I was staying on the 11th floor and at night there was a constant high pitched sound coming from the outside of the building (air handler?) as well as traffic noise from the expressway next to the hotel.

Staff was excellent and very helpful. Lobby was very warm. Felt like the heat was on too high. Room was good but bathroom could use updating. Bed was very comfortable.

I booked a premium room and stayed in the property for 3 nights. The room itself was small and the carpets were stained and dirty. There was smoking smell that we couldn't get rid of. The bathroom was something from the late 1980s and very small and not very clean! I am not sure how they can sell this as a Premium Room product! The room was closer to a standard room and we paid closer to $450 per night for this room. The room looked different compare to the pictures posted on the website. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel room assigned to us upon check in looks and smells filthy. Couch and carpet were almost black. As if the hotel room is over 50 years old. So, I asked to be transferred to another room. Unfortunately, other better rooms are sold out. The only one available was a Suite, but I had to pay an arm and leg for this upgrade. I had to take it, if not, I’ll end up in a hospital due to asthma attack. Hope they will upgrade all of their rooms. No one deserves that kind of room for about $500 per night.
