I chose it for my stay in Tokyo to offset the hustle and bustle and it did not disappoint. The staff are so kind and friendly and will do anything to help your stay be a relaxed and joyous occasion. The wonderful town of Shinto Kitazawa is with in walking distance, with all its fabulous restaurants, coffee houses and bars. And you are only twenty minutes by train from Shibuya and Shinjuku. And this is our best decision to stay at this hotel. It is still close to everything but at a very nice and trendy neighborhood. The whole neighborhood is homey and fun to walk around. The hotel onsen is amazing and clean. We really enjoy it every day after walking all day. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. And the breakfast is a must-have. The staff was very attentive and welcoming, the onsen is relaxing and quiet with plenty of amenities. The room was so perfect - very large and comfortable with a huge outdoor area. The beds were comfortable and it was perfectly clean. It's a very short distance from the train station and in a quiet area but close to Shimokitazawa shopping/dining etc. Bonus Track down the street was really cozy a great place to grab an outdoor drink/snack. It is relaxing, clean and a lovely escape from the City without being too far from the centre. I gave the accommodation 4 stars as we had to change rooms after the first night due to a strange humming noise but the hotel were very accommodating so I am not complaining! Check in was relaxed, we were shown the bath areas (though sadly couldn't use them due to said illness) before being shown to our room. 101 has it's own bath tub in its outdoors garden area which was such a treat! Truly excellent. We were unable to eat at the restaurant like we'd wanted as it is by booking only which I hadn't seen so be advised of that. Breakfast the next day was very special indeed! Truly spoilt for choice and everything was exceptional (though I just couldn't stomach the salted natto).
