And this is our best decision to stay at this hotel. It is still close to everything but at a very nice and trendy neighborhood. The whole neighborhood is homey and fun to walk around. The hotel onsen is amazing and clean. We really enjoy it every day after walking all day. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. And the breakfast is a must-have. The staff was very attentive and welcoming, the onsen is relaxing and quiet with plenty of amenities. The room was so perfect - very large and comfortable with a huge outdoor area. The beds were comfortable and it was perfectly clean. It's a very short distance from the train station and in a quiet area but close to Shimokitazawa shopping/dining etc. Bonus Track down the street was really cozy a great place to grab an outdoor drink/snack. Check in was relaxed, we were shown the bath areas (though sadly couldn't use them due to said illness) before being shown to our room. 101 has it's own bath tub in its outdoors garden area which was such a treat! Truly excellent. We were unable to eat at the restaurant like we'd wanted as it is by booking only which I hadn't seen so be advised of that. Breakfast the next day was very special indeed! Truly spoilt for choice and everything was exceptional (though I just couldn't stomach the salted natto).
