Le déjeuner sur planche était fabuleux!

Somewhat shabby and less than well-maintained, the Kennedy House must have seen better days. Staff were young and inexperienced. The stairs and corridor smelled of mildew and worse, not terribly, but enough that it was impossible to miss. My room was unimpressive, with a cheap vinyl floor throughout, incomplete cosmetic repairs, and cheap fixtures. The mattress was of that "marshmallow" foam that makes you feel stuck in mud when you roll over. But hey, at least the air conditioner (a window unit) worked, and the location was super.

Our room was larger than the average hotel room with two comfortable queen-sized beds, the bathroom was also large with good counter spce and a good size bathub/shower. The room and common areas where very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, helpful and generally cheerful. The complentary breakfast was hot, fresh and pleniful with a very good selection that should satisfy any tastes, they even offered specialty coffees without extra charge. There was amble free, onsite parking with a choice of outdoor and indoor parking. This hotel is well situated close to the waterfront, downtown and attractions. This was our second stay here and would recommend it to anyone as it gives great value.
