The Francis Marion Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I loved the older feel to the space. The food was excellent. My only complaint is that when we first arrived, our toilet was not flushing properly. We addressed this with the front desk and they immediately sent someone to fix the toilet which then worked perfectly for the rest of our stay. Right across from the farmers market and many nearby shops and coffee."
"Perfect location right in the heart of downtown Charleston. Plenty of restaurant spots in the area, and the restaurant/bar on-site is great. Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and modern. Only small complaint is that our mattress was pretty worn, so there wasn't much support for our back. Probably time for them to upgrade those mattresses so it doesn't feel like you're sleeping in a hole. Otherwise, it was a great experience; we'll return!"
A sweet tiny house in a great location, with bikes and beach amenities.
10/10 Excellent
"On day one we encountered some storms in the morning and Brian reached out to let us know to travel safe and that we could come early if needed. When we finally arrived the immediate reaction was, it's adorable! All directions for arriving were spot on and the tip sheets left out were so easy and helpful. Even though it's a tiny home, it was perfect for the two of us. I loved all the hand painted drawings I found throughout the space! The location was perfect. Away from the hustle and buslte but still easily accessible to anything we wanted to do. Hands down the hidden gem of our trip was Terrace Theater, which Brian and Ava recommended, and it was nearly 10 minute walk away. Also loved getting a spotify playlist for the drive home. Such a great stay and such great hosts!"

"My spouse and I were very happy with our stay. The cottage looked just like the photos, it was very clean and comfortable, in a great location for what we wanted to do in Charleston, and the hosts were fabulous. We would highly recommend this place!"
