"We loved the hotel, location and design beautiful. We did find the room a bit small and on the dark side. Additional charges for little palm/daily amenity fee!/valet @58$ (not obliged) all adds up."

HarbourView Inn

HarbourView Inn

10/10 Excellent
"We loved this hotel, it has a serene quality. Perfectly situated just off King Street, close to historic Rainbow Row, on a corner by a dynamic fountain and a pier, close to restaurants, bars, galleries and shops, it was a quiet, calm and cool retreat from the bustle and heat of Charleston. Our room was spacious and well appointed, the staff; friendly and very helpful. Breakfast on the roof terrace- great views- or where you choose to take it, was pre-ordered and delicious. We loved the little touches the hotel provided: on tap tea & coffee, water stations with various natural flavours ie lemon, mint etc, a late afternoon glass of wine, cheese and nibbles laid out in reception and fresh baked cookies later on in the evening. Most appreciated. Valet parking, which was reasonable in the context of other downtown alternatives, allowed us to dump the car for a couple of days and explore this highly interesting city on foot. A very enjoyable stay which I would happily repeat at the Harbour View Inn."
