Anderson Island Luxury Beach Home. Kayak, HotTub, Paddle Board, Beachfront, View
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely awesome home on the Bay of the Pacific Ocean. The home has great views of the bay. Super easy check-in and felt very safe. My wife and I and two kids that are in their 20’s loved everything about the home. The bedrooms are spacious and the two bedrooms upstairs both have decks overlooking the water. The third bedroom is downstairs and very nice as well. All with full bathrooms. The kitchen area is huge and fully stocked with amenities. The sunroom is super nice and we spent a lot of time just being together and watching the water and the great views. They also had some fun games that we enjoyed which is hard to find for the four of us. We used the bbq grill with no problems one night and the rest of the deck is really large with a fireplace, table and chairs with plenty of shade and an awesome hot tub. They have 2 paddleboards which we don’t use but did use the 3 kayaks a lot. Two single and one double kayak. They have life jackets and paddles. Even if you have never kayaked you have to try it. The water is chilly but very calm. The views are amazing. On clear days you have a great view of Mt Rainier on a 2 minute kayak trip or a 5 minute walk. We also saw several seals and even an orca. The owners are crazy nice people and very responsive. We loved everything about our trip. We travelled from Ohio to try something new and loved the home and the island that it’s on. A vacation that is so full of great memories. You won’t be disappointed. "
"Great breakfast but at 8am when you’re out of the scramble egg/hashbrown mix it would be great to supply more since breakfast is until 9:30am. I was told nicely no.
Not a huge deal and we loved our clean, quiet room. "
"We are actually still here. We have enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay. The beds are extremely comfortable, the free breakfast is great. They change the menu each day. One day it is biscuits and gravy with link sausages and hash browns. Next day it’s scrambled eggs, link sausages and hash browns. There is a waffle maker, instant oatmeal, danish, yogurt, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, orange juice, apple juice, water, bananas and oranges. There is a nice pool and hot tub which are open 24 hrs per day. Quiet time is from 10 pm to 7 am. There is a form you are required to sign regarding quiet time. They are pet friendly. We sometimes have difficulty finding a hotel where cats are welcome and they are quite welcome here. The cat fee is quite steep but worth it to have your whole family travel with you. The room is a nice size and has accommodated our family of 4 adults and 2 cats. We have a microwave and mini fridge. The room was clean except the bathroom so I just scrubbed the tub, and sink and we were ready to go. The staff are very nice and friendly. We will definitely stay here again in the future."
"The check-in process was easy, the appliances were good quality, the housing space was adequate for the whole family, and the transport process was reliable. The house was homey, and we all enjoyed it. "
"What an amazing place to stay! The view, words can’t describe. Great communication, very clean, bright and spacious home with all the modern amenities you need. When I come back to Seattle, this will be the place. "
