The carpet was dirty & tables/furniture/ mirrors were filthy. The connecting door to the room next door was unlocked and balcony window/sliding door open. Opened the curtains to see a filthy property next door and some weirdo touching himself. Terrible ice machine was broke as well.

It is so sad to see this hotel continue to slide downhill. It has the most enviable location for accessing the culinary and shopping delights of downtown Olympia. Has covered parking, to boot. But, this stay will be our last, after many years. Staff tries but is overwhelmed. Please, someone either renovate this place (hard to see how, now) or tear it down and build anew. So, so sad.

The room was nice, the shower did not drain nor did the toilet flush…. But i was immediately changed and upgraded to a mini suite…. Which as very nice except the shower did not get hot enough…. The staff was very friendly and i have stayed here before. I wish they would go back to the breakfast where you could make pancakes and such other than just muffins and yogurt

It is extremely rundown and broken. My door deadbolt didn't work, all ice machines didn't work. There was no warm/hot water to take a shower at 6am in the morning on Thursday and the parking was beyond sketch. Back door was broken and just open opening to the parking lot. Windows all filthy..................................

Staff was friendly. Hotel was very outdated. Room needed multiple repairs. Mattress was very uncomfortable. Air conditioning on high never cooled the room. Breakfast choices were miserable. Cheapest room rates for a reason. You get what you pay for.

Property from the 70s, expect popcorn ceiling, small bathrooms, non working cooling, I cleaned carpeted floors, landline phones. Though great location, I wish they renovate the property to give a new elegant look, modern comfort and premium service.

Our room was too hot to get to sleep on both nights. The AC was turned off in the room when we checked in on one of the hottest days of the year. The second night the AC couldn't cool the room until about 10pm. This is a Red Lion Inn unrecognizable from any others I have stayed in. It seemed like the staff was doing all they could with limited manpower and limited resources they were given.

Staff were very attentive and helped with anything we needed. Room was clean. bed was super comfy. Walking distance to all of downtown restaurants and shopping and the Olmpia farmer's market. This was out second stay here and will stay again.

I hardly ever write reviews, but this was the absolute worst place I have ever stayed. From dirty rooms, to clogging sinks and bathtubs, zero upkeep, chairs I wouldn't sit in in a hazmat suit. The location was terrible, addicts and homeless everywhere, hotel has zero concern for our safety or our vehicles safety. 0/5. I am going to pushing for a full refund as we stayed in that room as little as possible and had terrible sleeps.

I liked the location of the hotel. It was easy to get around the area and explore. The staff was amazing and really respectful. The only issues i think i would say i had was the lack of housekeeping provided in the building, and their breakfast options.

The street entrance to the hotel is difficult to notice. Check in was good. The door handle to my room would not engage to open the door like it was supposed to. Took 9 tries to get it open. Mattress was pretty worn out. Could feel springs in places. Not likely to stay again.
