"Alvin was fabulous. He answered every question we had w/in 5 minutes. The outdoor area is excellent for all ages- pool, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor kitchen and playground. Well stocked kitchen. They even had a crib, pack n play, and plates/utensils for kids. Easy 20-25 minute commute to almost everywhere."

"Brittany and Garrett’s place was great! We came down to San Diego for Zach Bryan’s concert. We checked in late on Friday, and I was so concerned about the time, but communicating with Brittany was such a breeze, and the door to the studio was unlocked for us to just walk in with out a problem. The studio was clean, and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We brought our own toiletries and towels in case there weren’t any provided. You’re able to sit out in the deck if you want to, and explore their backyard. They have a chicken coop with silkies and chickens, which was my favorite part or the stay. We briefly met Garret and their babies, He was the nicest, and asked if we had everything that we needed. The ceilings are low, so if you’re tall you will hit your hands a few times like my husband did while changing, it was quite comical. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the pillows were amazing too! We did come across a huge water bug on the bed as we were getting ready to go grab food late last night. We looked for that thing everywhere, and it just vanished. I was a little scared going to sleep, because those things can fly, and I am scared of them. We don’t know how it got in, but it left the same way it came in. Overall, this is a quaint little find, and we highly recommend this place. It’s centrally located to everything. Thank you Brittany and Garrett for opening a small piece of your home to complete strangers. If we’re ever back in SD, you’re it!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property! We are 11 family members from age 14-79 and have stayed in villas over several continents, and we were very happy with this house. Communication with the host was clear and easy. He was quick to address a burned out bulb when we informed him of it. Check in could not have been easier, with a lockbox on the front door. The house is about 20 minutes from most areas of interest. It is on a hill and not walkable to anything really. It does have a nice view of downtown SD and Coronado, about 20 mins drive away, though the view is somewhat hazy, but I wouldn't hold it against the house.The house was very clean! The beds were very comfortable. Good water pressure in the showers. Kitchen was huge and well stocked.The house itself is really interesting. It is built into the hill and has many stairs, generally in shorter staircases. It's probably about 4 floors, with bedrooms spread throughout. The rooms are generally big and nicely appointed, as is the rest of the house. There are various sitting areas so room to get away from the group or to spend time together. Ample gathering spaces with comfortable seating, and we dined comfortably together. The AC works well. The pool was the perfect temperature, though one more umbrella would have been welcome. My main complaint was the continuous clicking sounds generated by what I assume are rodent repellers in the backyard, but we got used to that pretty quickly. Would stay here again!"
