The facility is amazing- tons of history and architectural stunning detail. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is great right in the heart of the Gaslamp District. The hotel room itself we stayed in was a little dated and in need of a 're-fresh' (not sure if other rooms or other areas of the hotel are as dated). Also, I originally made dinner reservations at the hotel restaurant “Salt & Whiskey”, but when we stopped by to have our complimentary cocktail during happy hour, we noticed it was pretty chilly and asked if they could turn on the fireplace, but they said it wasn’t working, so I asked if they could turn up the heat, but they said it’s pretty hard to keep warm with all the large windows.
