"We stayed for five nights in the Emory Suite. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. We loved the living and dining areas, too. The area is near the road, but traffic slows to nothing at bedtime and it’s so quiet. Stargazing is also wonderful. We would recommend this property to anyone traveling to the Big Bend/Terlingua area. "

"This was an amazing stay. We got here in the dark and the right in was amazing under a blanket of stars. You wanna make sure you have your check information saved to your documents or a picture of it because there is no service until you connect to Wi-Fi. We stayed in the bank and it had two beautiful king size beds with a nice front porch facing the wondrous view of mountains in desert. Stargazing is amazing right next to your building. The kids enjoyed hiking up the mountain to the cave. The only regret we have is that we didn’t stay longer."

"The place is great considering the location. It was so windy when we came so it was expected to be dusty. There was some stains on the sofa which was fairly new with one of the cabins. Overall it was a great place to stay!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Casa de Creosote in Terlingua Ranch. Jim was incredibly welcoming, communicative, and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed while also giving us plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time:)The house itself was fantastic—comfortable, well-kept, and perfectly situated. The views were truly breathtaking, overlooking the surrounding mountains and offering a peaceful setting, especially at sunrise and sunset.If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with stunning scenery and a thoughtful host, this is the perfect place. Off-grid but well, you have all the amenities you normally need, still being in the middle of a desert so just be mindful, that's it!:) Relax and enjoy! "

"Michelle & Mark were great host, so welcoming & informative on the area. Barndominium was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable, plenty of kitchenware for cooking & living room had 2 very comfortable couches. Outside had a gas grill fot grilling, hot tub for soaking & plenty of seating to relax or enjoy a fire. Great for our trip to Big Bend National Park & State Park. We would recommend for your stay as well!"
