When the water is high you can come down the 1,500 foot walled canyon. With less water flowing, guides take you 3 to 4 miles up the canyon with some spots having to portage. The only regret is not getting there earlier in the day so we could enjoy it longer and spend time at the Starlight Theatre. Walk to the coffee shop for a morning breakfast burrito and enjoy the lovely patio. Then head over to the little art gallery (buy a book written and illustrated by the shop owner while there) and the gift shop by the Starlight Theatre. Don’t miss the Terlingua Cemetary as well! I love the property with all the outdoor spaces that encourage you to be outside, looking at the beautiful surroundings. Plenty of creature comforts but nothing you dont need. It was great being able to walk down for coffee and breakfast in the morning and beers at the Starlight Theater later. Definitely coming back! ##### Daniel J.
