Historic aparthotel in Terlingua
The Santa Elena is a lovely stucco and stone accommodation facing Big Bend’s famous “Mule Ears” in the nearby Big Bend National Park. The cozy room features a queen-size bed, air conditioning, wifi and direct access to the West Courtyard and its’ firepit. Two bathrooms and two shower rooms are steps from the guestroom and possibly shared with other guests. It's namesake, The Santa Elena Canyon is a fifty-minute drive from our guesthouse.

Santa Elena Room
Our room was just as it appeared in the pictures. To our surprise, the area the property was located was sensational. Located on a hill right next to the legendary Starlight Theatre. The view form the entire property is stunning.

I wanted to do some star gazing and relax with no noise! This was perfect! No television! The sky was dark enough for viewing also! The room was clean and well appointed! Watch your head as the doorways are quite low! I’ll return here!

Terrific Teralingua
Our room was a cozy, clean place to stay in Teralingua and well located right in Ghost town. I would give the property manager 10 stars If that were an option. Joel was responsive and most helpful from Booking to departure. Only negative would be the lack of a closet or bureau but we managed. Could also use a larger mirror over the bathroom sink. We’re on the tall side :)

Perfect Place!
I have visited Terlingua several times over the years and I can easily say this was the best place I've ever stayed at. This place checks all the box's comfortable bed, great A/C, clear water source, speedy Wifi, and central to everything in the ghost town. I can't wait to come back in the spring!
