It was easy getting on and off the island by bus and we figured out the subway system pretty easy. The place is beautiful and served us well for everything we needed. The setting on the water was so peaceful and private, yet easy access for those of us traveling by public transportation from Manhattan and La Guardia airport. The house was very clean and had everything we needed it to have. beds were comfortable, the outdoor patio with gas fire pit was perfect for your relaxing nights. "The location was great and thre property was almost perfect for our needs. The only negative issue was ants. When we got up the first morning of our stay the counter was teeming with ants. There were several ant traps on the counters but they were pretty ineffective Otherwise, the house was great."
