« Small but perfect home base for exploring the area. We came to drive the dragon for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the area. The little A Frame Cabin helped make that time more enjoyable. If you are coming for the dragon or other nearby drives, the entrance is literally across the street from Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort and the entrance to the dragon. »

« While on a motorcycle road trip, I stayed for one night at the Owl’s Perch on September 28th. It is a charming private wood cabin adjacent to the house of the hosts, Doug and Alice. It is quite a unique and peaceful accommodation in Robbinsville, NC, 30 min from the city accessible through a beautiful winding road while being very close to scenic roads and scenery like the Dragon’s tail road. « This place was perfect for us on this trip. We only needed one bedroom but there are 3 at this one. Everything you need for the kitchen is provided. I loved having a washer and dryer also. A covered place to park our motorcycle was a super plus for us. They even provided towels for wiping off the morning dew that will settle on our bike. But the covered parking helps out tremendously!
