"A nice and more affordable option for those visiting North Lake Tahoe. The Granlibakken has an old-school Tahoe vibe, which can be both charming and dated. This particular room, while checking all the boxes, definitely has a bit of "staying the night at Grandma's house) vibe. Furniture is fully functional, but could use an upgrade. Overall, would stay again for the price, but would enjoy it more with a little refresh."

"This little place is great for a couple. It’s not lakeside it’s on the other side of the road. The best part was the fast response in communication with the host and we were able to check in a little early, which was great. It has a small kitchen, which I was able to make meals in for just the two of us. The bathroom was nice with no problems. TV worked well. The bed was ok just too firm for our liking. Tahoe is cool enough no need for AC. Check out the ice cream down the road and the pizza...

"We stayed in 2bed+2bath "townhome". The room was outdated but fairly clean and didn't smell any order in our room. Beds were comfortable and clean. One thing that surprised me is that this place has trash cans that are not bear-proof, so during my two days of stay I saw a bear two days in a row, roaming around for food."

"Had a great 1 bedroom unit with Kitchen. Housekeeping was very good. Walls are thin and was a bit annoyed when I received a phone call from the front desk saying to turn my TV down. Honestly, it wasn't loud and slightly after 10pm so I'm sure I had some picky neighbors next door. What I don't get is the hotel was very empty so why would you put two guests next to each other when other rooms in the same room type were available one or two doors down and doesn't change the view.?? Hey, I'm on vacation so ya I might be having a good time and not a fan of uptight, superior acting folk. Location, Location, Location!!! Perfect. The hotel is an exceptional spot in SLT. All around a great choice just thin walls evidently, LOL. Cheers Azure Friends!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton in Lake Tahoe and thoroughly enjoyed our overall experience. The only aspect that was a bit disappointing was the laundry service, which required reservations 3–4 days in advance. This was quite inconvenient, especially for guests staying for a shorter period or needing laundry services during their trip. It would be helpful if the hotel could offer more flexibility or communicate this requirement in advance so guests can plan accordingly. Aside from this minor inconvenience, our stay was very enjoyable, and we would happily consider returning in the future!"

"We had a second floor room, beautiful view, really liked that the hotel was located further back off the street, and there was a Indian Restaurant, a really good breakfast Restaurant right there, also a cvs all in the same lot and Safeway close by, I guess the only complaint would be the bathroom was very small, I would definitely stay here again"

"This is a nice hotel, but the bed was so soft that it sank when you sit/lie down (I am 105 lbs); causing sleepless night with back pain. The drain in the shower was partially clogged, I have to stop running the water intermittently to let it drain. This maybe an isolated incident to this one room. The view from the room was beautiful ! Overall a good trip."
