The two bedrooms each have a King bed. There are 2 full baths. The family room is actually a 3rd bedroom with 2 Twin beds and a fold-out sofa bed. The living area features a beautiful rock fireplace, fully equipped kitchen that accesses a large private deck for relaxing and BBQ. The house is fully equipped for your vacationing needs. There is a smart TV upstairs and the downstairs tv now has a DVD player that can also access streaming services like Netflix, Amazon, etc. all you need is your own credentials. A new mini sound system is pairable with anyone’s devices for music. There is wifi at the home and access to the Homeowner Association pier (key to access pier is at house, $200 if lost). House is located close to the bike trail system and Kaspian recreational area. Not far from Sunnyside Resort, Homewood ski area, West Shore Cafe, Firesign Cafe and local West Shore markets. \*Must have 4-Wheel drive and snow tires to access this house in the winter. All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans. Deck and BBQ may not be available during winter months. On day 2, I contacted the management people about a few things. I asked for an additional skillet - one was warped so badly it would not sit on the burner and the handle was loose, the other skillet was quite large and badly scorched. We asked for a fan (there was one in the upstairs area) for our guests who slept downstairs. I asked for additional shampoo and body wash ( the bottles said "save for guests", so I assumed they were providing the shampoo and body wash. Each bottle had about 1/4 inch of product in it.) The bottles of hand soap at all sinks were watered down. The management company totally blew me off. We received none of the above. Furthermore, the management never called to check if we had what we needed (I guess I know why). We have rented for 3 weeks in Tahoe for the past 5 years - ALWAYS the owner calls to check on us about mid-way through. Next, the info on VRBO says "updated". I find that hard to believe. The couch upstairs is incredibly uncomfortable. The linens on the upstairs bed are atrocious - flannel sheets that are badly pilling. The positive here is that I don't need to get exfoliation on any part of my body for some time. There was not a single dishcloth to use - only one sponge which I really dislike. In the kitchen, there were 5 wineglasses; the place sleeps 6 adults. The cleanliness was good in places like the bathrooms and kitchen area. However, there was debris under the tv cabinet and also along the edge of the carpet under the dining table. I noted this throughout the house - the center of rooms was vacuumed but the edges were grimy. Probably the worst thing was the condition of the carpet in the upstairs. Really dirty and stained. We habitually take our shoes off before going into a house - we do this at our own home and at rentals as well. After the first 2 days, I wore my shoes into the house - the carpet gave me the willies about what might be imbedded there. Positives: The deck is great. Nice outdoor dining table and 4 good chairs. 4 really nice Adirondack chairs on the deck as well. The grill worked fine. The mattresses on both kings were good and comfortable. Good hot water and good water pressure. The dishwasher worked well. There were lots of towels. I'm doubtful I would rent here again. I'd say it's just OK. Which is not good enough for the cost of this property. ##### Debbie M. House was in an absolutely perfect central location near Tahoe City. Super clean. Property manager responded very very quickly to any questions and even gave us some restaurant recommendations. Less than a 5 minute walk to the neighborhood’s private pier, which was perfect for our BYO-Happy Hour! Our only disappointment was not seeing the sneaky neighborhood bears.
