THE LOCATION
Holden Beach North Carolina, is a small coastal community in southeast North Carolina known for its welcoming locals, beautiful beaches, and nesting sea turtles. Recognized as a top beach by USA Today, and one of National Geographic Traveler’s Magazine top 10 family beach destinations, Holden Beach is the perfect destination for your next vacation. Keepin' It Reel is located within a short 3 minute walk to the beach and has stunning ocean views from both decks!
PROPERTY DETAILS
This property comes fully stocked with all the amenities you will need to have a comforting and relaxing vacation! Amenities begin with covered parking and lighting for up to 5 cars. There is a private salt water pool, tiki bar and outdoor shower. Pool heating is available for an additional $70 per day (see below for more info). Smart TVs are located in every bedroom and in the main living areas on both floors. The first floor has a pool table and wet bar, the second floor has a large open living area. This house is very spacious. All Stellar Beach rentals include bed and bath linens for all stays. This home has keyless entry. To make your stay with us feel a little more like home, this property includes a propane gas grill. Please do not use any fire pits or deep fryers at this property. Additionally, this home comes with six (6) beach chairs for you and your party to utilize at your leisure. This home is pet friendly, please see the policy under the important information section below.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please note there are security cameras monitoring entrance doors.
Pool heating is an additional $70 per night with a 3-night minimum. If you would like pool heating please let us know at the time of booking or at least 30 days prior to your stay. *Please note* pool heating is only available between October 1st - May 15th.
Fire pits and deep fryers are not permitted for use at this property due to the safety hazards they pose.
Pre-approval is required for parties under age 30.
Smoking is not permitted at any Stellar Beach Property inside or outside. if caught smoking on the premises you will incur a fee.

Pet Friendly Rental:
Keepin' it Reel is a Pet Friendly Property for a $350 non-refundable pet fee. You can bring up to two pets under 20 pounds. Homeowner Approval is required. Any pet left unattended must be crated and cannot be left outside. No pets are allowed on the furniture or beds. No pets are allowed in the pool. You will be charged an additional pet fee if these rules are not followed. Please email us a copy of your pets most updated vaccination record, proof of flea and tick treatment, as well as a photo of your pet to begin the approval process. If a pet is found on the property without approval, an additional fee will be applied to your stay. Please send approval information at least 1 week in advance of your stay date. *NO dogs under 1 year old*

CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel any reservation and receive a full refund of all amounts paid if you notify Stellar Beach in writing (by email or letter) of your intention to cancel the reservation at least ninety (90) days prior to the check-in date. In the event that you cancel your reservation within ninety (90) days of your check-in date, for any or no reason, (including the failure to pay the final payment due 90 days before the stay), including inclement weather, you shall not be eligible for a refund of any payments made to Stellar Beach. Stellar Beach highly recommends purchasing traveler insurance!
We offer Standard Trip Insurance which covers you 100% of Trip Cost up to $100,000 if your cancellation reasons fall within the 30+ standard cancellation reasons. The cost of Standard Trip Insurance is 7% of the total booking price. Standard Trip Insurance can be purchased up to 30 days before your stay.
We offer Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) Trip Insurance which covers you 100% of Trip Cost up to $100,000 if your cancellation reasons fall within the 30+ standard cancellation reasons (listed above) and 60% reimbursement if your cancellation reason does not fall within the 30+ standard cancellation reasons. The cost of CFAR Trip Insurance is 10.8% of the total booking price. CFAR Trip Insurance can only be purchased in the period of two weeks after your booking has been made and only if check-in is more than 30 days out.

Beautiful home. Great location.
We were very happy with “Keepin it Reel”. The house was plenty big enough for the 10 of us. We especially liked that every room had its own bathroom. The extra mini fridge on the first level came in handy. The pool was great fun and we loved that it was saltwater! The beach was easy walking distance from the house. The house was on the quieter end of Holden Beach. The listing is true to the pictures. We had a couple minor issues that the management company addressed immediately. We would love to rent here again!

Family friendly Beach House
Completely updated house and seconds from the beach access! Such a perfect house for families and comes fully equipped with kitchen necessities, nice beach chairs and pool floats (make sure to bring toilet paper and paper towels). The house backs up to another house with a pool but we had no issues with noise. 10/10 recommend this house!

Lovely home that is well maintained. Management company was great to work with except when asked about heating the pool. Due to limited hours the sun is on the pool, this pool was freezing and not really able to be used by anyone unless you are in to shivering a lot. Heating a pool in summer should not be a big deal. As far as your policy of being "pet friendly", this home rental is far from it. How can it be pet friendly when you have so many rules 1st to accept any dog and 2nd once you arrive. A pet friendly rental would mean your pet can be included in your daily activities just as if you were at home. However, with this home, you want a dog to simply stay in one spot alone basically as you do not allow dogs around the pool which is a highlight an great selling feature of this home. Totally agree with no dogs in the pool but the area surrounding the pool is a great gathering spot while at the house, that is for everyone except your dog. Either be 100% pet-friendly or not. With regards to your "rat" running around the pool, I do hope someone addresses that immediately unless that is the "pet friendly" part of this stay. To pay what I paid for this home and then have a rat run right at us on the 1st night was less than acceptable.

The property was very nice for a family stay. The bedrooms allowed for all to sleep comfortably.
The property work out great for our family of 9 with ages 3 to 89. You will need to bring some beach towels and there are some beach chairs there for use, The close access to the public beach is a nice compliment to the property. Overall a very nice property and the management companies communication is very good. No surprises..

An Expensive Mistake
When we started planning our visit to Holden Beach months ago we read such amazing things about Stellar Beach Reality & Rentals. We are people that read reviews. We watched the beautiful video that was posted of the home that we carefully selected. We were so eager to see the home we invested in this year in person. On a positive note the home (Keepin’ it Reel) is very spacious and the location is truly fantastic. The pool was a plus and shaded in the afternoon. We also never ran out of hot water. The process leading into our stay was also stellar, but that’s where it ended. We arrived on July 17th, to a dirty home, yet we paid a $500 dollar cleaning fee. The house didn’t even smell clean. I still question, if it was actually cleaned before we arrived. The home reeked of dog piss and no matter how much we cleaned, it didn’t help. The pool was covered in big clumps of black fur upon arrival. The furniture (inside & outside) and the floors were covered in black fur. We battled the fur all week, even in the kitchen. One bedspread upstairs was covered in fur. No one offered to have it cleaned for us. The sliding glass door lock in the bunkbed room didn’t lock, which I made management aware of and no one offered to fix it. So we used a pool stick to secure the door all week. When we arrived the dryer was not drying and blowing lint everywhere, due to a tear in the silver hose. Which we fixed and cleaned up ourselves, and sent pictures to management since it was a huge fire hazard and obviously it had been like this for a very long time. The car port area was covered in an abundance of sand when we arrived (which we cleaned) and the golf cart had sand all over it as well. We didn’t even use the golf cart this week. It’s a short walk to the beach. The elevator is very grouchy but flipping the breaker will reset it, and that saved the day multiple times. The AC went out on Friday and this was the icing on the cake (which is the one thing we aren’t upset about), because this is something that can’t be prevented unlike all the other issues I’ve mentioned. We will never select a “pet friendly” home again and we are pet owners. We are accustomed to much better customer service and companies that actually practice what they preach. People work really hard to afford a week at their “one big yearly” vacation. The lifespan of this home is going to be shortened due to the lack of oversight and care from the management company. It’s truly unfortunate.

This property was AMAZING!!!
What a stay!! We enjoyed Holden Beach (first time), but this place made the stay even better! Very clean property (had a feel as if it was just built), with plenty of space ( 4 adults and 7 kids age range from 16-3). We gave the kids the 1st floor and the adults took the 2nd! Very spacious! We had ZERO issues the entire time and throughly enjoyed ourselves! We most definitely will be returning!

A Nice Get-a-way
This was a wonderful house very near the beach. Our stay was during a week where it was a little cool and the heated pool made all the difference in the world. We would definitely stay there again!
