"So this place was quite nice , we chose it for the hot tub and fire pit, the room was awesome for 8 people that I had invited and we very much enjoyed our night. Except there was just a small path shoveled to the hot tub very narrow and snow on the cover, also I had told the owner that we wanted to use the fire pit and brought wood for it but the outside furniture and fire pit was completely covered in snow with no path shoveled to it, so we couldn't use it, so that was very disappointing. There was dust bunnies in corners of the house and dust on some furniture and hair stuck on the walls in the bathrooms , also the main bathrooms electricity outlets were not working, and the bottom electrical on the same one the coffee maker is plugged into is not working as well because we thought the toaster was broken but it was the plug in . Plus when we got there, there was a smoke alarm going off for low battery indicator warning which was very annoying and we couldn't find it, but eventually found it shoved into a drawer in the first family room. The owner was very good at communicating and sent someone to help us but we had already found it and taken the batteries out of it. But all in all was a nice place that could use a bit more upkeep especially in the winter."

"Ankita was a wonderful host: very welcoming, warm, respectful and friendly. She started off by allowing us to check in when we arrived to town-- we didn't have to wait til 3pm. She programmed the keyless lock to be part of our phone number--so convenient. She responded quickly to any questions or concerns. Her daughter gave us a Christmas gift! We appreciated the assigned parking with plugin for the cold nights.The basement apartment is as advertised and was perfect for our needs. The open concept kitchen, dining and living room, 3 large bedrooms with nice sized closets were very clean and tidy. The queen beds were comfy with cozy duvets. The large soaker tub has a rain showerhead, towels were extra large and fluffy! The washer and drier were handy. The wifi was excellent, the cell service spotty at times.We cannot comment on the futon--one child slept on the floor. As Scott from "Vacation House Rules" says, maximize heads in beds. Technically there is room for 8 to sleep. We would highly recommend this accommodation for groups of 3 to 6 for maximum comfort. Thanks for a great stay Ankita!!"
