It was a good experience except for one strange situation. We were enjoying a beer on the balcony after a long day of travelling and the manager knocked on the door and told us that we could not have beer in our room or on the balcony. After travelling throughout Mexico and many other parts of the world, I have never heard of such a hotel regulation. It made us very uncomfortable for the rest of the stay. At one point, we noticed a hotel employee searching another guest’s cooler. Very strange!
The room was good except there was no closet or hooks to hang clothes.
