This is hotel is new, rooms spacious, with modern decor and immaculately clean. Pet friendly. Complimentary laundry, breakfast, and outdoor hot tubs and swim spa are very nice. Reason for 4 stars (instead of 5) is the lack of dining options and no in-house store. It's far from any other stores as well. In the hotel, they have a very fine very formal dining that you need a reservation for, or, just down the road a pub/diner, but with mostly fried food and limited healthy options. Breakfast included with the hotel is just very basic. You must speak in hushed tones even in the lobby and breakfast area because in this hotel, everything echoes very loudly. Hotel is loud and noise is amplified. Even regular steps above you and door closing/hallway sounds extra loud because of the acoustics. For this reason, I did not get great sleeps because you hear all the inevitable comings and goings of other guests very early and very late. Very nice staff. Would appeal to gen z/millenials and/or those who prefer very modern decor.

For the location and price, this one was definitely worth a try. Local restaurants and cafes were all around the corner. Walking distance to the London Bridge. Staffs were very accommodating and the hotel clean. The restaurant in the hotel closed quite early. The bar in front of the hotel can be busy and noisy at time, but this added to the vibe of the area.

Good location. Historic building. Parking limited and sometimes difficult. Noise from either heating/aircon/ or bathroom extractor fans coming from other rooms. Also noise from street - Friday bin collection at 5.40am. Positioning of the smoke detector with bright green flashing light above the bed and poorly fitting doors allowing corridor light into room disturbed sleep. Breakfast was interesting, not conventional dining but eating from seating in bar/lounge/lobby and holding dishes in lap. Tea bags a problem, even after 5 mins in hot water , tea was very weak. If you want something a bit quirky this may fit the bill, but not for everyone. Some guests were clearly unhappy about the breakfast arrangements. The corridor space did not appear to be properly cleaned and a vacuum cleaner was left on the landing.
