Aiden Austin City Hotel

Aiden Austin City Hotel

8/10 Good
"It’s an old hotel, everything outside the room shows its age, but it’s very well maintained. The rooms are still the important thing and they look like rooms from much newer hotels, clean, spacious, comfortable and the best towels I’ve ever seen in a budget hotel. My only complaint was the a/c was struggling in the 100 degree day, in defense of the hotel I was on the top floor, and those a notoriously harder to cool. And although the bathroom look to be 95% new, it still had the original tub in it."

"Staff was great. Breakfast was terrific. Room was adequate. Hotel was located one building away from some sort of shelter and the noise level was not good. Also the fridge made noises all night long."

"20/10—I loved my stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, and there were plenty of nearby spots like restaurants and museums; the area is totally walkable. Parking is an extra $35 a day, but you can park in the surrounding area and avoid that cost. The ladies running the breakfast service are super friendly, and there’s a good variety of food. I’ll definitely stay here again when I return to Austin."
