"We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very nice with lots of options. I loved that they had liquid coffee creamer available instead of that powdered stuff. The only issue was that there was no shower curtain in my sons' room. The staff was very friendly, and gave us a toothbrush to use after one of my sons forgot his. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"This quirky Victorian style property is a great place to stay. As a solo traveller I felt safe & staff were attentive. The continental breakfast was good with a wide selection of self service items on offer. You do need to be aware that the trains ‘toot’ as they go past and some are quite long but the hotel does supply ear plugs & using them I wasn’t bothered by the noise. All in all more of an old fashioned, individual stay rather than a corporate experience. I loved it! "
