"Had a lovely stay at this hotel. What a beautiful setting, the grounds were impressive and the location means it’s easy to hop onto a bus into York. The on site pub was convenient after a relaxing visit to the spa. My room was in a quiet location with lovely views. The only negative was the room was a bit chilly on waking. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again."

A shame our room was not serviced on the third morning as requested. Many bus services run by hotel for 15 minute journey into centre. Excellent pub across the road for meals. Enjoyable stay."
