Had a lovely girls holiday here. The hotel was really nice, breakfast was good and it's perfectly located to get quickly into the heart of the city. The hotel staff were also great at proving reccomndations where to go which really elevated our stay. Overall would go back to again 😊

Modern clean property in the heart of York. Rooms and bathrooms immaculate. Extensive breakfast options. Parking was a bit of a challenge made worse by roadworks and blocked off streets (not something the hotel acould do anything about) however overall a great place to stay, would book there again

This place was excellent. It was right across from the train station. You do need to walk down to The Grand, cross over and then go back up the street to get there. The rooms were nice clean and big. The free breakfast in the morning was very high quality but geared towards the English customer. Hardly anyone got a waffle. Overall the staff was wonderful

Property was good. My only issue is that Hampton don't accept cash payment and if it wasnt for a lovely guests assistance we would have been without a place to stay. Cash should always be an option. Not everyone wants to use card for everything.

I likes the location, the cleanliness and standard of the hotel. The only thing i didnt like was the breakfast, not sure why there was no option of fried eggs, as the scrambled eggs tasted like carton and probably made of powder. Such a shame, as the rest was amazing, including the waffle station!
