"Room was clean and quite spacious. Some furniture was showing signs of wear. The kitchenette was fine (microwave, sink, dishwasher) and the Nespresso machine made great coffee. The staff were really helpful (especially when I needed more coffee pods). Breakfast was pretty good - decent choice but busy. Location is very central for driving to Huntsville but not good for walking anywhere except the few fast food outlets outside the hotel."

"The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, parking was easy and the cost was very reasonable. The only issue was that there were fruit flies in the room throughout our stay. We couldn’t figure out where they were coming from, and they didn’t go away. It was a little unpleasant, so it might be worth checking the room for a source and making sure there isn’t an issue with drains or food waste."

"Generally, the rooms were clean. However, mattresses, particularly the sofa bed, required replacement. The amenities at the property were exceptional, especially the activities at the lake and the pool. I would suggest adding more bonfires, as they currently have one that accommodates six people. Although it was stated that the bonfire closes at 10 p.m., it remained open for us until 12:30 a.m., which we greatly appreciated. Additionally, I would recommend adding an umbrella to the patio in case of rain. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"Nice and cosy location with a beautiful lake view. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Overall, I would say it was an acceptable value for money. However, the property seems to need some serious maintenance and repairs, and perhaps even a renovation. Surprisingly, the restaurant was closed on our first night. We had a chance to try it on the second night, though, and the food was good enough. Our room door was stuck, so opening and closing it was not easy. The indoor swimming pool was also not clean enough, although the outdoor one was in better condition. The hand soap in our washroom ran out after the first day and was never replaced. Another issue was the soundproofing. There was very little privacy, and we could easily hear noise from the rooms on both sides. Overall, the location and the staff were good, but the property definitely needs some attention and maintenance."
