"Our family fell in love with this beautiful home and grounds! The home was so very clean. They had an overabundance of toys, books, movies, games. Everything you could want in a kitchen. The home is huge and each room is so full of character. The stargazing was spectacular! The incredible views! Those wonderful, gentle animals! Our grandsons could not believe it! Our 5 year old grandchild said, "it's like we have our very own petting zoo!"The owner and caretaker made us feel so very welcomed and cared for.We look forward to a return visit.Thank you!!"

"This location was great. We traveled to VA for a wedding and rented this with another couple. The location is in a beautiful spot. We got to enjoy watching the horses nearby and the other critters like hedgehogs and turkeys! The cottage is very clean and spacious, and had all the amenities we needed."

"An elegant old house tastefully redeveloped, with large, comfortable and stylish rooms. Great location close to breweries, wineries and hiking and not far from Charlottesville. So, mostly good but the administrative and customer-service side could be better. We weren't sent the code for the front door and another couple we met weren't sent the code for their room. I received the checkout instructions after having already left the property. "

The top of the microwave would fall off when we used it, and the dishwasher is starting to fall due to the way it was installed. Besides these few issues, everything went well! Would stay again."
