"This was our second time staying at Sarah's property. The house is located on a beautiful property with great outdoor space. It’s near many attractions, and this time we were able to check out nearby Blue Mountain Brewery. We had a great visit with family and plenty of space to gather. The house has everything you could possibly need, and is spotless and comfortable. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this immaculate, well decorated, fully stocked home! The home is located so close to everything. The couch was SUPER comfy and so were the beds. Would love to stay again if back in the area."

"This was my favorite place to stay out of 4 of my 9 day long trip. It was beautiful, peaceful and the staff was friendly, helpful and they all seemed to love their jobs. We felt very at home but yet they treated us like royalty. The breakfast was amazing and the chef even came out and talked to us!! Will we go back, YES!!"

"Lovely stay. Awesome shower. Comfortable beds. The only suggestion I would make is perhaps another chair in the living room. I know the space is quaint but with four adults another chair would add to the comfort. Will stay again! Great location - close to all the things we wanted, breweries, wineries, good food, hiking, cville. Didn't use the firepit this time, but very nice option."

"Our family fell in love with this beautiful home and grounds! The home was so very clean. They had an overabundance of toys, books, movies, games. Everything you could want in a kitchen. The home is huge and each room is so full of character. The stargazing was spectacular! The incredible views! Those wonderful, gentle animals! Our grandsons could not believe it! Our 5 year old grandchild said, "it's like we have our very own petting zoo!"The owner and caretaker made us feel so very welcomed and cared for.We look forward to a return visit.Thank you!!"

"This location was great. We traveled to VA for a wedding and rented this with another couple. The location is in a beautiful spot. We got to enjoy watching the horses nearby and the other critters like hedgehogs and turkeys! The cottage is very clean and spacious, and had all the amenities we needed."

"An elegant old house tastefully redeveloped, with large, comfortable and stylish rooms. Great location close to breweries, wineries and hiking and not far from Charlottesville. So, mostly good but the administrative and customer-service side could be better. We weren't sent the code for the front door and another couple we met weren't sent the code for their room. I received the checkout instructions after having already left the property. "

"Absolutely the BEST experience I’ve ever had with a rental property. Lindsey went above and beyond to accommodate and make our time at Lewis Catherine House memorable. Property is close to Charlottesville, breweries, Greenwood Grocery, Crozet, UVA, and more— but why leave when you can relax in a rocking chair on the front porch with a cup of coffee watching the cows across the street, watching the stars twinkle by the fire pit, or look out across the back of the property from the all-glass garage door of the “party barn”?!
