"My mother and I had a wonderful two-night stay at Midships in Homer, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about both the property and the host.From the moment we booked, the communication was top-notch. The host made sure we had all the right information and checked in to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. That kind of care really stands out.The home itself was peaceful, clean, and inviting—exactly what you’d hope for on a relaxing getaway. The backyard was especially beautiful and private, with well-kept grounds and lush plants all around. It felt like a little oasis. The space was stocked with everything you might need, and the location couldn’t have been better—just a short distance from the beach and close to great dining options.This was a truly special stay, and we felt incredibly well taken care of. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this host without hesitation. Thank you for making our time in Homer so enjoyable!"
"This was the perfect location if you want to be on the Homer spit. Close to shopping and restaurants and the ocean can be seen from every window. Beds were super comfy and the shower hot. We will return if we need lodging in Homer again! "
"The bed and room were very comfortable. This is right across the street from a nice steakhouse and a very cute coffee/ breakfast creperie. The Driftwood had lots of character. It was not at all what I expected but sometimes good things are like that. The people were so nice and helpful! They booked dinner reservations for me and a bird/ boating tour in Halibut Cove. I’d stay here again."
