This Historic Cottage is in the Center of the Homer Spit that is less than the cost of a two hotel rooms that sleeps 7.. DETAILS: (more) \* Short walking distance to fishing charters (so you can sleep a little longer :) Ahhh, Vacation....) \* Outside Seating Areas: 3 (w/views of all Glaciers, Marina, Restaurants, Shops, and Surreal Midnight Sunsets) \* Sleeps: 7 (Pack'n'Play available to sleep 8) Carseats and strollers are also available since Little People need stuff too. \* Separate outside entrances (for family, friends OR fishing buddies to have their own space, Kids love it!) Don't need that much room or want to billed separately with another party? We will rent each space separately. My sons loved having a separate space and we all enjoyed sitting out on the upper deck the first day with ice cream we got from the shop 2 doors down. Safeway grocery and a great laundromat are just a quick 10 minute drive and a fishing lagoon is across the street or walk 10 min and fish on the end of the Spit. The property is clean, adorably decorated and has all the basics for cooking. The 2 bathrooms are awesome! We also enjoyed watching the tide come up under the back deck—wild how large the tide changes were! There is definitely room for a couple more! The upstairs access is separate from the downstairs but we felt safe and comfortable with our teens being there… and of course, they LOVED it. The kids had a wonderful time playing on the beach and checking out all of the shops. The candy store was probably their favorite 😁. The beds were comfy, the space was cozy and for the location it was surprisingly quiet. The owners are excellent communicators and you can tell that they put a lot of thought and love into the property. Plenty of restaurants and shops with just about every souvenir you would want from Alaska. Homer Fished Adventures the Black Pearl with Captain Forest Luking was great!
