The kitchen is well-supplied with plenty of room for cooks, sous chefs, and advisors. The porches and windows offer expansive vineyard and garden views. The 3 bedrooms all have ensuite bathrooms. The 1.3 acre garden invites meandering and meditative time. A comfortable TV room is separated but centrally located and is very close to the refrigerator and the open great room. Details- The large great room is 2 walls of mostly glass that open onto multiple decks. Its placement on a gradual hillside gives the views an intimate but open, bucolic feel. The great room includes a fully equipped kitchen and 10' x 4' island, a 10' dining table that seats 8 - 10 comfortably, a seating area with comfy chairs, and a sectional. The great room is surrounded by windows, a TV room, and 3 bedrooms, each with an ensuite bath. Two of the bedrooms have 9' tall sliding glass doors that open directly onto the deck and views of the surrounding rolling hills and vineyards or garden. The third is perfect for the person who wants to pull down the shade and miss the sunrise. The garden features a bocce ball court, horseshoe throw, swing-set. If cornhole and Jenga are your thing, we have those, too! Begin the day sipping your tea or coffee and watching the sunrise. End the day with dinner and a glass of local wine while watching the sky turn pink. There are large tables that seat 6 -8 on 2 of the decks. VENTURING OUT: We are a 10-25 minute drive to Healdsburg, Forestville, downtown Santa Rosa, Calistoga, and more wineries than you can possibly explore in a mere week. For outdoor pursuits, there is hiking in Annadel State Park, Hood Mountain, Shiloh Ranch Reserve, etc, or head down to the Russian River for kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and enjoying the small towns and restaurants on its banks. You might also find yourself content to relax at home and explore our neighborhood on foot. If you have a hankering for the ocean, we are a 40-minute drive to the coast at Jenner or Tomales Bay. This is a cyclist's paradise. Options include anything from a relaxed bike ride through local vineyards to a long, rigorous but spectacularly beautiful century. Check online and consider joining one of the many organized rides hosted by local bike and/or culinary clubs. There is also a collection of bike route maps available at the house. There was no body wash in any of three bathrooms and no shampoo in two of the bathrooms. Two of the bathrooms could only get lukewarm water in the showers. At least one of the bathrooms had extremely sharp objects from which I cut myself several times. We placed towels over these sharp corners to avoid cuts.Some of the blankets were dirty. One of the headboards was not attached to the bed and the headboard and bed did not match. The headboard was for a smaller bed. The window coverings only screened the room from outside view. During the day the rooms were bright.We were never able to figure out the TV and were therefore unable to watch anything. The sliding glass doors from the living room to the outside deck could not be opened. The sliding glass door from the dining room to the deck could be opened with great difficulty. The washer and dryer were in the garage which was a mess. All of the outside trash containers were full upon our arrival and stayed that for our entire stay. We were forced to bag our trash and leave it in the kitchen when we left.I would not recommend this house to anyone. On the surface it looks great but looks are deceiving. It appeared as though the owner of this house hastily through something together to put on VRBO to generate some income. ##### Cynthia F. There was an extra room upstairs that was not clean, however there was prompt communication and we were offered access. Need to ensure that owner’s quarters have a working lock. Issues with the hot tub and working the fire pit. Hot tub would heat overnight and be ready in the morning and then lose heat and not heat up enough to use in the evenings..we got to use it once during our stay. Owner was in communication and offered to have someone out to fix it, but it seemed to be working after a few resets at the main breaker box. Shampoo/conditioner not filled in all the bathrooms, but not a problem for us since we had our own. Owner addressed all issues promptly. ##### Jeni V. The bocce court in the late afternoon sun and followed by a hot tub with a rising full moon were great experiences to remember always! We loved the location, the quiet neighborhood, the garden with fruits and veggies we could use, the hot tub and even a massage table! The house was clean and nice when we came. The location was convenient, quiet, with great views. We loved the modern kitchen, extremely well equipped, enjoyed the garden, and made for an amazing place to enjoy the wine country and just being lazy and enjoying the surrounding hills and scenery.
