From the moment you arrive you'll feel like you're on vacation at the beach. The Space: \- Comfortably sleeps up to 7 adults \- 3 bedrooms \- 2 bathrooms \- 1 reserved parking space (this is strictly enforced, as the parking area is shared with other units). There is parking on the street, but keep in mind an open spot is hard to come by during the busy months. \- Fully stocked kitchen w/ drip coffee maker \- Living room \- Back deck with outdoor furniture Note: \- No gatherings or parties allowed (strictly enforced) \- The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety. \- Smart TVs with streaming capabilities (no local channels or cable). \- NO PETS Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire home. The Neighborhood: Santa Cruz, California, is a coastal town with a unique blend of natural beauty and vibrant culture. Getting Around: \- Seabright Beach (5 min walk) \- Santa Cruz Main Beach & Boardwalk (15 min walk) \- Whole Foods, Safeway, etc. (5 min drive) \- Seabright Deli, Tramonti, Linda's Seabreeze (5 min walk) \- Santa Cruz Harbor (5 min drive) \- The Mystery Spot (10 min drive) \- Monterey Bay Aquarium (\~1 hr drive) Other Things to Note: \-We can only accommodate one car on the property (Strictly enforced!) any other cars can easily find free street parking. \-There are 3 total properties on this lot and guests will share the driveway and parking area with the homeowner as well as other guests. \-The patio area in front of this home belongs to the neighbors and is not available for guest use \-The twin room is intended for small children when 3 people are staying in this room & using the trundle bed. Please be aware it is a tight squeeze when all 3 beds are used (trundle is pulled out). \- We have landscapers, pest service, and other property maintenance done on a weekly basis. You may see or hear these service professionals during your stay as they let themselves into the backyard to service as needed. Please be sure to ask about this before booking if you think it might be an issue for you. \- TV is a smart tv with streaming capabilities. There are no cable or local channels. \- The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety. \- We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). There’s mold on the heaters so we didn’t turn them on, lots of ants, and flickering lighting. When I tried to communicate with them about my health concerns I was never answered even after patient attempts. The location is great though and would a great place to stay after it’s had maintenance. It could use more cozy dining chairs instead of cold metal too. I was pleasantly surprised by how close it was to the beach. We could see the boardwalk by just walking to the end of the road and it was easily walkable distance. The beds were very comfortable. We did not need a place right on the beach. This is the next best thing, a perfect spot just a few steps from the beach. The house is in great shape and the amenities are good. We had a little confusion about which driveway to use. It's the one on the cliff/beach side of the houseWe had two cars, so parked one on the street. Parking spots were generally available except for a couple time when I had to park on the street behind the house. Not a problem. This house was adorable, perfect beach and boardwalk access, clean, and comfy. Paid for 3 days. but with a very late 'check in' and early 'check out' there was no time to enjoy the house on those days. House cleaning did not inventory well, I had to send a follow up email. It was clean, well maintained (recently updated, it seemed) and the location was perfect. Super close to Seabright beach and less than a 10 min walk to the Boardwalk. Easy drive to everywhere else we wanted to be. The agency that manages this property was very communicative and responded quickly to our questions about how to work the heater properly (I'd suggest a printout of the operating instructions for the house manual). We've stayed in four properties in Santa Cruz over the past 3 years and this is the only one that we are eager to stay in again! ##### Leslie H. We stayed with our family of four (2 yo and 5 yo) and they had a great time. The house is cozy/compact (as are most of the houses in this area), but it has all you need for a fun family vacation. I especially appreciated the easy access to laundry in the back entryway and the equipped kitchen that had things like coffee, olive oil and basic spices provided. We were able to walk to the boardwalk (across the pedestrian bridge) and Seabright beach is even closer. The large decks are very nice for relaxing, and my kids enjoyed the smart tv in the living room when they needed a little down time. Everything is very clean and up to date. My only suggestion to the hosts would be some sort of light blocking curtains…. The windows all have blinds for privacy, but the bedrooms are very light as soon as the sun comes up and before it goes down (this probably only impacts people with small kids, and during the summer months). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to any friends looking for a convenient Santa Cruz location!
