"Villa Massis is a hidden gem. The room was beautiful and immaculately clean. The deck, pool area and gardens are gorgeous. Mel is an amazing hostess and chef who met my gluten free needs. Larry, our friendly host is extremely knowledgeable about the treasure that is Belize."
"We stayed at Terry's house for a portion of our trip. The location was a ways up the hill which was perfect for us. The neighborhood was clean and quiet and the views were fantastic. After exploring the area during the day it was refreshing to comeback and watch the sunset from the pool."

"We loved everything about Rio Mantra. It is a great place to land each night after exploring the wonders of San Ignacio and area. We even cooked in one night. We spent most of our time outside by the pool listening to the sounds of the jungle. A toucan came by several days and a family of parrots made a playful racket. It was great!"
"This property exceeded all of our expectations! The location is absolutely beautiful. And the host was fantastic. Hadas set up our excursions for us and was always available to answer questions or get us a taxi into town. I highly recommend this property."

"We went with a group and rented all three cabins on the property. We stayed in cabin 1. The kitchen and living space is in a screened in area. The bedroom/ bathroom is in the area with A/C. That was really nice is one person woke up before the other you had a separate space. The kitchen and living space is all in the a/c in the other two cabins. That was really nice for the members of our group who don’t do as well in the afternoon heat.
The communication with Melody the property manager was...
"Staff are attentive and helpful. Property provides many amenities and options for touring around the San Ignatio area. If I find myself coming back to San Ignatio I would strongly consider staying at Mystic River again."
"An amazing experience! Abdiel, Rita, Ragner, and so many others took such good care of us. Such genuine people at a beautiful resort. Food was great! If you are up early enough you will see a wide variety of birds at breakfast. We even saw a few howler moneys in the evening! We did the ATM tour and appreciated the deep compassion and respect our guide (Ben) had for the history of the archaeological site. We'll be back!"
"clean spacious room, internet was good, frsh coffee in the morning, grounds were nice, a nice short walk to the river. short walk into market / restaurants."
