In a good way, super simple but sufficient. Centrally located so one min walk go to most tours. The room is clean and spacious and staffs are friendly and helpful. They provided banana and coffee for breakfast. Good hot shower. No Kleenex in the room. Their rooftop is a big plus for us with a 10 yo, especially the pool. It is not big but big enough for us to have some fun, has a nice view of the area and provides some reclining seatings. Room was clean and comfortable. I'm spoiled by normally having a coffee maker in the room in the USA. They did have two coffe pots in the lobby but you had to get there early to get some. Property could use some updates. Staff was very friendly & helpful in accepting a package of souvenirs dropped off for me. Because of the location in the middle of San Ignacio, it is an ideal place for shopping, dining & people watching. Taxi's are available less than 2 blocks from the hotel. It's right in the center of town, so really convenient for doing any of the local tours from. The room was clean but was rather rundown, horrible lighting, poorly built shower that let all the water escape and soak the floor....I didn't want to spend any extra time around the hotel than I needed to.
