« Cohune Palms is just what we were hoping for. The property is really lovingly maintained. The staff are really warm and accommodating- Ms. Nellie's cooking was just perfect after long days of tours! The cabins are not posh but not supposed to be- and it was HOT in there, we ended up asking for additional fans in the evening- but they were clean, and had everything we needed. We specifically chose this location because we weren't planning on exploring town or being "close' to other...

« The check in was easy. We appreciated the fenced yard as we had children with us so it made us feel a smidge safer. Easy to get to the best parts of town like the highway and the market. « Our family of 5 stayed in two cabins in late December 2023 and had a great time. The cabins were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each had a porch looking out over fields and the Macal River. Manon was a fantastic host. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat in San Ignacio and things to do in the Cayo Region. The Lodge is down a dirt road that is very bumpy (like most roads in the region) and became very muddy because of the rain so we parked about 1/3 mile from the lodge...
