The Neighborhood: Rotonda West is a deed restricted community of mainly single family homes located on the Cape Haze peninsula just south of Englewood in Charlotte County in SW Florida. Rotonda West is laid out in the shape of an incomplete wagon wheel with over 20,000 acres of greenbelts, fairways, ponds, lakes and 23 miles of waterways made up of seven distinct subdivisions (spokes in the wheel) comprising Oakland Hills, Pebble Beach, Pinehurst, Broadmoor, Long Meadow, White Marsh, and Pine Valley. In the center of Rotonda West off Parade Circle there is a community park with tennis courts, nature trail, childrens play area and BBQ. It is approximately a 20 minute drive to Englewood Beach. There are five golf courses within Rotonda West - The Palms, The Hills, The Links, Long Marsh and Pinemoor). Thirty miles of picturesque canals, lakes and ponds wind through the community and offer fishing and boating opportunities for its residents. A protected wetland preserve to the south prevents development of that area. The Microwave was not working when I arrived and I called the office and was told to just slam the door. Well that did not work and let them know and they did replace it. Then I went to use the vaccumn cleaner and the wheels were broken off and again I call and let them know ,but before I called I purchased a new vaccumn and let the office know again. You would have thought they would have asked how much I paid ( $40.00) and offered to buy the vaccummn cleaner, as you need proper equipment to maintain the property,as I was at the house for two months.There are so many other flaws to put in this comment ,but it is my oppion that they are not interested in keeping the house up to date( the rest of the rugs should have been replaced years ago as they are totally broken done. ##### lorie s.
