When I arrived, there was no complimentary water and the windows appeared broken, which immediately made the room feel poorly maintained. On day one, the blinds on the roof window broke very easily. I reported it, but they were never repaired. The paint on the walls was also chipping, showing a lack of attention to detail. The bathroom was not properly stocked. There was only one roll of toilet paper, other supplies were not replenished, and when I called the front desk, no one answered. There were also bugs in the room, which I reported to the front desk and showed photos of. Service was disappointing as well. When I asked about bringing a guest, the staff were rude and told me I had to pay an extra fee. I also took an elevator from the roof deck that restaurant staff said was okay to use, only to be yelled at over the intercom, which felt extremely unprofessional. The pool closes at 3 PM, drinks were not available at the pool, and some common bathroom sinks did not work or had no soap. The location was also very loud every night, with police and escorts outside. I became very sick during my stay, and while I cannot confirm the cause, the cleanliness issues did not inspire confidence. For the expensive resort fee, this stay fell far below five star expectations.
