« While on a motorcycle road trip, I stayed for one night at the Owl’s Perch on September 28th. It is a charming private wood cabin adjacent to the house of the hosts, Doug and Alice. It is quite a unique and peaceful accommodation in Robbinsville, NC, 30 min from the city accessible through a beautiful winding road while being very close to scenic roads and scenery like the Dragon’s tail road. The cabin has a private balcony overlooking a beautiful stream. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Alice...

« Where to start? The cabin and the grounds were amazing. We started every day with a walk with the dogs through the beautiful grounds with magnolia forest, a beautiful stream, and more hiking trails than we could do in a week! »

« Such a hidden gem! Let me start by saying the pictures are great but the cabin turned out to be so much better in person. My family and I booked this stay over Thanksgiving break and it was perfect. This was our first time staying somewhere for Thanksgiving & it’s almost like the host knew there were a few items we had forgotten spices, dishes, etc that were readily available with so much more.
