"If you are looking for mountain quiet 20 minutes from Dollywood, this is the place for you. The rooms are spacious and have balconies to enjoy the mountain air. The staff is great and very helpful. Appointed with a microwave and mini fridge, the rooms have everything to sustain you. I will be back."

"My husband and I checked in around 7pm. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful, and gave useful information about breakfast, etc. Once we got in our room the phone rang and it was the gentleman from the front desk asking if our room was okay and if we needed anything just let him know. The hotel was clean, the staff very kind, and breakfast choices were great. It was not a fancy hotel but I would rather have a clean place and nice people. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay at Sleep Inn again."

"This place was heaven on earth. We wanted to escape the noise and light pollution and this was the perfect place. The cleanliness was top notch and that says a lot coming from this ex OCD professional cleaner. The river and wildlife added to the relaxation. Bob was very quick and responsive from start to finish. Although there were plenty of restaurants, we didn't eat out a single time. We cooked all, meals at the house and enjoyed the chance to reset. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The deer and bird food was a great added extra. We will definitely be back. I cant say enough good things about this rental."

"This makes our 3rd year in a row visiting the Lazy Elk, and we look forward to returning next year, and hopefully each year, Good Lord willing. We absolutely love it here and cannot imagine there could be a more beautiful or relaxing place to be. The hosts are wonderful and provide a marvelous place for the perfect getaway— hot tub, ATV, private dock, and a clean and well appointed cabin. The views are God’s handiwork!! And they are phenomenal!! Our only complaint is that time seems to go much too fast when we’re here!! We never are ready to leave."
