"It was a nice, clean place! I was hesitant at first because it didn’t have a pool, but honestly I was barely even there and when I was there, I enjoyed the comfy beds and my boyfriend went down to use the gym, so it was a lovely stay."

"The resort is dated, it feels more like a camping vibe than a luxurious resort vibe. It’s cheaply finished and poor quality renovation are obvious. They staff and customer service is excellent and they do a great job of offering activities for the kids, but their pool areas are not anything fancy and inconvenient to try to access other pools on the resort. The rooms are okay, the resort is nice. From a family who regularly camps this felt like an upgraded camping experience, definitely not the resort vibe I was expecting like some other waterpark resorts I’ve been to."

"This is a beautiful property right on the Guadalupe River. The quaint rooms have been remodeled, and we loved the retro style. Our only issue was that we were there for four nights and our room was never serviced. We did find a cleaning lady and were able to change out our towels. The day before we left, we asked about having our room serviced and were informed that it was upon request only and even though it was late morning, it was too late to have it done that day we were told. That would have been fine if we had been made aware of that at check-in. The front desk staff was friendly when addressed, however, they are constantly standing around on their cell phones and do not greet customers or engage with customers unless addressed directly. The two maintenance guys that were on the property were super friendly and made sure to greet us and exchange pleasantries whenever passing by. The air-conditioning in the room worked well and the beds were super comfortable. Overall, our experience was good. I would just recommend training front desk, staff and implementing a cell phone usage policy in guest areas."
