"This is the perfect place for someone who's just passing through and needs to get some shut eye. It's not for the fate of heart when it comes to train noise, but it is generally quiet otherwise. Unfortunately the neighborhood has been going through hard economic times and many of the hotels that were operating in the area have closed down entirely. Presumably because this hotel is old and likely paid for a long time ago it can remain open but there isn't a lot of extra money around to spruce it up. That's particularly true because there have been plans in place for a long time to replace it with a new modern hotel. I don't think I'd want to bring my family here but I found it to be the same last night as I found it to be 40 years ago when I stayed here on a regular basis. Comfortable close to the action and value oriented"

"We were there for only one night, but it was a great stay! Gym was clean and the equipment was high tech and easy to use. Breakfast was delicious and buffet options were great, including the vegetarian options. They have cold brew available along with their hot coffee options. They have hydration stations, you can refill your reusable water bottle! You also get free water in your room! Clean room, kind and helpful staff, amenities were great; I am definitely rebooking here next time I’m in the bay!"

"Rooms are clean and spacious. Beds and towels are done and replaced daily with fresh ones. WiFi is not the best due to being located near the marina but most of the days were spent out of hotel. Rooms came with microwave and a fridge to store drinks and reheat food. Toilet is in good condition and usable. Stay was pleasant. I enjoyed it. Quiet area during the night."

"The manager was helpful in calling for a taxi for my need to go to and return from the hospital for a medical procedure at the nearby hospital. He answered all my questions and acceded to my requests. Although the room was basic, but with fridge and microwave, it was clean and comfortable and had all I needed. The shower worked well. The light in the room was superb. The location was quiet. It was helpful that there was an obvious recycling bin for things I wanted to recycle. I recommend this place. I took my own food since I was staying for two days and was supposed to rest. There was plenty of parking."

"Parking is paid, around 50-60 dollars per day, so its 20 percent from room cost. I thought rooms are soundproof, but nope, my neighbors were talking and walking around midnight, waking me up, i was hearing everything. Not worth the price, spend around 300 per nigh for this. Rooms, shower, bathroom and beds are ok. Breakfast is not free."

"Front Door was not a place to drop off and pick up so we had to circle block twice to fully understand what street was the front entrance. Shower curtain torn near circular attachments to closure was not good which meant water on the floor more than safe. Pull out bed was cute but not functional as sitting was awkward. Good space in the workout room. Excellent service at Bistro!"
