Muskoka Bay Resort

"Best part was the bed, very comfortable and bed sheets were nice. Room was very clean and new. But they advertised on Expedia that they had black out curtains but turns out it’s see through so I had to buy an eye mask for sleep. Another issue is the toilet seat for some reason seemed a size smaller than the actual toilet so it was misaligned, staff was helpful to have maintenance adjust the alignment. Amenities were scattered all across the premise, the gym and sauna you have to drive your car over. Wish they would have a note before booking that all the pools and rooftop bar was already closed for October. Or even better use a heated pool to keep it open for longer season. Overall staff was very helpful except for the guy that checked us in, through our 5 min check in process he must have yawned 5 times already and it was only 4pm….kitchen was well equipped but bring your own salt and pepper and oil. In suite Laundry seemed nice but we didn’t use it for our short trip. Security for the buildings can be enhanced as anyone can enter the building and elevator to every floor without card key."

"We had an absolutely fabulous time.The dining room and food were excellent.The lady that leases the restaurant was our server as they were so busy,and was a delight. Only complaint was the heating didn’t work in our room but thank heavens it didn’t get that cold.We called the front desk,no answer,so left a message but never did hear from them."

"Everything is excellent. Only the swimming pool is so small and the bed is extremely soft. I couldn't sleep at all due to the soft bed."
