Muskoka Bay Resort

"Overall the property was excellent Upon arrival the concierge staffing the arrival desk advised that Cliffside Restaurant could not be reserved for dinner due to a wedding He advised us that we would have to find a restaurant off the property to find a place to eat dinner As it turned out this was not true Once in our room we proceeded to see if we could order a meal through room service Lucky for us when we placed the call to the Cliffside restaurant we were advised that we could indeed eat at the adjoining lounge next to the Cliffside restaurant The lounge shares the same menu and is immediately adjacent to the Cliffside restaurant and shares the same view We had a wonderful meal at the lounge The only other issue was that the garbage bin in the kitchen had not been emptied from the previous tennants The loft room that we stayed at overall was very clean and spacious"

"Awesome hotel during our Muskoka visit. Friendly staff, free breakfast included, has all amenities we need, clean and spaceful room. Free parking. Steps away from many fastfood restaurants and stores. We had a great time here."

"Overall very nice experience. A lot of nature to enjoy, however one needs to carefully check the seasonal amenities in the hotel are open or already closed. Also the restaurant can have more options, i believe. self-Parking charge is not justified (given pricing of room + it is not right outside the reception)."

"We loved the large space and separate bedroom. Beds and bedding were superb and plenty of towels. There were cobwebs on balcony, in kitchen window and bathroom.. Sitting area furniture was lacking and very uncomfortable and sparse. Some helpful things would be to switch fridge door for efficiency, coat hooks at entrance would help too. Some kitchen items missing were egg flipper, cutting board and coffee filters."

Beautiful Waterfront Cottage with Hot Tub in South Muskoka

"We stayed with a large group for Labour Day weekend, we had a very fun time! Communication with the host before the trip was not great, and extra fees were added last minute, but I understand it was Labour Day weekend and that people get too busy to check apps. There was a pool that we didn’t see in the listing so that was a nice surprise! There are cameras pointed at the pool and at the hot tub, which should’ve been disclosed in the listing, and on the in person tour, based on Vrbo’s camera policies. Other than that we had a great time, the cleaning lady, Denica was very sweet and helpful when giving us the tour, she even took a group photo of us at the end of our trip! This cottage has a lot of amenities that are attractive for large groups- karaoke machine, soccer and axe throwing games in the yard, trampoline, pool and hot tub and a sauna (the sauna wasn’t ready yet for our trip but it’s there), smart tvs, equipped kitchen, you name it! I had brought tons of things with me (TP, hand soap, baby wipes, a cheese grater, etc) because I was worried they wouldn’t have stocked the place very much but they had everything we needed and more! You can tell the housekeeper really takes care of everything. Overall great trip and we would come back!"
Lakefront Muskoka Beautiful Cottage

"First driveway is not good. My car’s tire got fractured when I entered from the main road. Property needs more attention back door does not lock properly. Otherwise room was clean and host is nice . In the rooms there was no hooks to hang the clothes."
