"This was our first time getting all our family together in one location at the same time and everyone had a great time. There were 3 generations - grandparents to small children - and the place offers something for everyone. The house was large with more than enough room for our group of 16. The long dining table allowed everyone to eat together in comfort. The well-equipped kitchen with double oven made cooking easy. The open-concept Great Room was spacious enough for everyone while the smaller peripheral rooms allowed people to have some quite time away from the group if they desired. Wifi was strong for those needing to work, beds were large and comfortable, and the basement games room had something for everyone. We rented a pontoon boat from the local marina which was a great addition to the weekend's activities. Kim and Mark were wonderful hosts. It was easy to text them if we had any questions and we always got an immediate response. There were small touches of hospitality everywhere - bug spray, hats, doggie bags, shampoo & conditioner, coffee, condiments...all available for use by guests. We booked our stay because I said I wanted the "VRBO commercial" for my 60th Birthday and that's exactly what I got! Everything was just perfect. Thank you Kim and Mark for making our trip a one-of-a-kind experience for everyone in our group."

"Our stay at this amazing cottage was picture-perfect! Firstly, the responses by the hosts, Christina and Preban, were very much appreciated - responses to our questions were quick and so detailed! I had no doubt what to expect and we were able to plan for a wonderful vacation. The property was in excellent condition, inside and out. Everything was very clean. We appreciated the hot tub which was well-maintained and we did our job to continue to apply the necessary chemicals. We really appreciated the bug screen on the gazebo (bugs in May can be overwhelming but as regular campers, we were not discouraged to enjoy the outdoors). The dock was an amazing place to enjoy the hot weather (and some recreational fishing) and the kayaks were in excellent condition. The firepit was well-equipped with great seating and gave us an opportunity to enjoy the cottage nightlife outdoors. The cottage was stocked with everything you would commonly need, inside and out, for a stress-free stay. The TV streaming was not used much because the weather was so perfect but having the choice for a rainy/cold day would be nice. Internet wifi was very strong everywhere on the property. We have already told many friends and family about the place and look forward to the next opportunity to stay and bring some additional guests with us and use the loft. "If you’re looking for Muskoka luxury - this is not it. But if you’re looking to truly getaway for some quiet lake time with family and friends - you’ve come to the right spot. It’s a true lodge experience on a beautiful lake surrounded by trees. Mike was the perfect host - accommodating and welcoming when you wanted/needed - but invisible when you wanted privacy. Spent a week with family aged 6 to 66 - something for everyone. Having the sleepover quarters in a separate building meant you could turn in for a quiet night and not be disturbed if others gathered to play pool and listen to music. We’ll be back."
