BIG Family & Multi-Family Cottage with Incredible View, Hot Tub & Sauna

10/10 Excellent
"Our family group just got back from a week at this cottage. We had an excellent time. The kitchen was well stocked. We really appreciated there being some herbs and spices that we had forgotten to pack. The cottage has lots of room for a large group. We had 13 adults and 4 babies ranging from 7 - 23 months. The lake is a short walk/drive down the road. This had pros and cons. We had to be intentional and well planned/packed when we went to the water. While the babies napped, someone had to stay behind as the water was too far away for the monitors to reach. We were easily able to make this work and everyone still enjoyed the lake. With young toddlers it was actually good to not have to worry about them being too close to the water. It made playing outside around the cottage easier. Kimberly and Mark were excellent hosts. Communication was great. Thank You very much for a wonderful stay!!"

Sunset Lakeside Escape on Beautiful Wilson Lake in Port Loring

Sunset Lakeside Escape on Beautiful Wilson Lake in Port Loring

8/10 Good
"This sweet, immaculately clean cottage is ideally located on a quiet part of Lake Wilson (Wauquimakog). The large, screened-in porch was one of our favourite places to sit, read, and look and listen to the lake, while the dock was perfect for late-night star gazing. If you're planning on cooking, the kitchen has all of the appliances and equipment needed to prepare meals and bake. Just make sure to bring all of your groceries as there aren't many places in the area to buy groceries. The bedrooms and living room were comfortable. It was a bit warm, even with the ceiling fans and portable AC unit running. However, there is a constant, cool breeze from the lake, so sleeping with the screened windows open made it just cool enough for comfort. The wifi works but requires patience and is sometimes spotty. We especially enjoyed the propane BBQ and picnic table! Of note, there are 12 uneven stone steps to walk down from the driveway onto the well-manicured lawn, followed by a short walk (approx. 20 meters) and another 6 steps up to get into the cottage. Though Port Loring is a small village, there are a few restaurants and thrift stores in walking distance from the cottage, as well as many lakes, trails, parks, and other attractions to explore within a 1-hour drive. For people looking for a private and peaceful place to relax, swim, hike, boat and/or fish, this really is an excellent choice!"

Jack's Lake Retreat - Perfect for multi-families!

10/10 Excellent
"Clean, tidy, everything you need for a great stay. There were 15 of us and we had plenty of room. Everything was great. Awesome spot, quiet and private. The boat trip is not long to the cottage, right across the lake. Only note, there is no potable water at the property. But, water is close by at Port Loring and the water dispenser worked well. No complaints. Excellent vacation. Thank you."

Secluded off-grid 3-bedroom cabin on a quiet lake

Secluded off-grid 3-bedroom cabin on a quiet lake

10/10 Excellent

4 season Family Friendly Beach Cottage in the Bay

10/10 Excellent
"The perfect place for a big family vacation! The home and property is beautiful, clean, bigger than it seems in the photos and filled with everything you need! The hosts are very easy to deal with. Fishing in Whitestone lake is fire. We caught some massive bass, pike, perch, sunfish and heard there was walleye but didn't have enough time to find them. We visited Full Send Cliff and Deadmans Drop for jumping and it was so much but the kids favorite swimming was right off the dock , lots of jumping and fun in the sun. The lake is also great for tubing, boating, canoeing , kayaking and paddle boarding on non windy days. Overall this was the BEST place for us to host our family vacation, we are so thankful the hosts opened their home and allowed us to spend out week here making amazing memories with 4 generations of family. We hope to be back soon :)"
