Do not forget you are on vacation and this is a cottage not your home. We enjoyed our stay. The owners are super nice and accommodating. « This was a lovely, classic Ontario cottage experience. The cottage was clean and well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, kayaks, a small selection of kids toys and a gorgeous dock on the lake. We (Mom, Dad, 10 and 8) stayed for a week and enjoyed swimming in the lake, having snacks at high rock, kayaking around Lake Bernard, and looking for frogs and turtles. There was a loon in the bay that sang at dusk. We saw hummingbirds, ducklings, woodpeckers, chipmunks and frogs on...

« As soon as we walked up to the door it smelled musty. Inside you could smell cleaner & staleness. When I saw a mouse run across the floor, I immediately left & contacted the owner. We were unable to stay there. My calls & texts were eventually ignored. I have been using VRBO for 30 yrs with no issues and unfortunately cannot recommend this place to anyone. »
