Lobby was beautiful. Location was perfect. Ease of parking was helpful. Bed was comfortable. TV choices were great.
But
Breakfast was lack-luster with poor quality and choice. We ate again somewhere else. Room price was steep for a Monday outside of prime time with a cold/quick serve breakfast.

Stayed one night after stopping in Boone. Inn is more of a resort. A little difficult to find in the middle of the night however worth it when we arrived. It is about 4 1/2 miles from the main road. There is a $5 per night resort fee on top of the room rate that is paid separately from Hotels.com booking. Excellent setting and scenery.
