"We stayed here as a staycation. The room was clean. The phone didn't work. I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk. Someone came to switch out the phone, but it still didn't work. They are in the middle of renovating some of the hotel so it's good to see that they are making improvements. You can't bring anything into the water park except water. They will check your bag and confiscate anything extra. Even when the bar and restaurant closes, they'll still not slow you to bring things in. The pool area is very nice. One of the bathrooms was closed for renovations I believe. The other restaurants near the pool are also being renovated. When it's done, it will be great. There were some areas along the lazy river that need renovated. We saw several exposed wires."

"If Palm Springs and a Mad Men movie set had a baby... it might look something like this. This boutique hotel is a brilliantly restored collection of mid-century modern office towers that's been given a colorful second life. Whoever dreamed this place up deserves a high five. It's retro without feeling dated, stylish without trying too hard, and just plain fun. The rooms are bright, cheerful, and full of personality. You almost expect the furniture to start telling stories about business deals from 1965. The swim club is a great place to cool off, the rooftop bar is perfect for watching the Arizona sunset with a drink in hand, and the whole property has a relaxed, social vibe that makes it easy to settle in. Another big plus is the location. The nearby light rail makes it easy to head into downtown Phoenix without worrying about traffic or parking, so you can spend more time exploring and less time staring at brake lights. This isn't your typical hotel—and that's exactly why I liked it. If you enjoy places with character, color, and a little bit of retro cool, I'd happily recommend staying here. I'd definitely book it again."

"Very clean and staff were so nice and pleasant to talk to and I was excited to see omelets for a breakfast selection but it was weird that the bathroom had no handsome but had 2 body wash options and a makeup remover wipe. We ended up getting our own soap for the bathroom and had hand sanitizer"
